Sotiris Alevizos (Audio Engineer / Producer / Songwriter)

I studied Audio Engineering at SAE Athens from 2011 to 2014 where I received my BA in Audio Production. Since then I’ve been involved with many artists on various projects (full albums, EPs, singles, live gigs and film), in many different roles including producer, recording engineer, mixing engineer, mastering engineer, sound design, editing, composer, songwriter, recording and live artist.

For as long as I can remember myself, I am deeply in love with music and the first time I got involved with it was around the age of 15, playing as a DJ at my friends’ home parties. From there I got interested in speaker and amplifier connections and how the rest of audio equipment connects to them. Soon I moved on from the decks to the electric guitar and amp, and the amp was later replaced by an audio interface. This I think was the defining moment of the rest of my life. From that moment I developed a great curiosity and passion about recording, mixing, mastering and sound design, which continues to this day.  

I started playing the bass at the age of 15 and since then I have worked with numerous bands, both as a live and recording artist, as well as being involved in the composition of many songs. Additionally, I have experience in advertising, both as content creator and voice over artist.

In 2024 I received my BA in Media Production and Film Directing from Metropolitan College and started working as a video editor. 

Throughout my carrer I always found the process of collaborating with other creative individuals exciting, trying to share their vision and help them achieve the best possible result. Whether it’s music, film or advertising, my goal is to understand the demands of each project and provide the best solutions.

 I started playing the guitar when I was 13 years old, and since then I've been involved in various bands and projects both as a live and recording artist. 

I have also worked in PA, as a sound technician and assistant engineer, accumulating invaluable knowledge and experience which helped me progress even further as a guitar player, as well as understand what an engineer needs from an instrument player at a deeper level.

I really enjoy practicing the guitar and evolving as a player, plus I love participating in the process of recording and producing music alongside other creative individuals.
